JUNE

• Parish Stewardship Planner provided to all parishes

JUNE - JULY

• Stewardship Chair (Committees) formed/meet to determine stewardship commitment plan
• Update parish census data

AUGUST - SEPTEMBER

• Deanery orientation sessions offered by the Office of Stewardship and Development for clergy and parish stewardship committees

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER

• Orientation of pastor regarding stewardship plan for 2009
• Development and preparation of parish communication materials: reflection guide and posters, commitment form, pastor’s letter, General Intercesions, bulletin announcements, and accountability report
• Selection and recruitment of lay witness presenters
• Parish communication materials ordered from the printer

OCTOBER - NOVEMBER

• Stewardship committee meets – reviews and finalizes plan
• Lay witness orientation
• Communication materials returned from printer

October 24-25:  Awareness Weekend #1

Introduction of the stewardship (renewal) effort by the pastor, bulletin announcement, Mass announcement and General Intercessions

October 31/November 1:  Awareness Weekend #2

Parish Stewardship Accountability Report, bulletin announcement, Mass announcement and General Intercessions

November 5:  Stewardship Commitment Mailing

Letter from pastor, reflection guide, commitment form, reply envelope

November 7-8:  Awareness Weekend #3

Lay witness on time, talent and treasure, bulletin announcement, Mass announcement and General Intercessions Optional – Parish Ministry Fair

November 14-15:  Stewardship Commitment Weekend

Pastor’s invitation to participate, commitment forms in the pews, commitment forms returned, bulletin announcement, Mass announcement and General Intercessions

November 16:  Parish Administration and Follow-up

Record intentions and send thank yous

November 21-22:  Follow-up Weekend

Opportunity to return commitment forms, forms in the pews, Mass announcement and General Intercessions

November 23-27:  Mail Follow-up to Non-respondents

and thank you notes to respondents

November 28-29:  Thank You Weekend

Pastor/Stewardship Chair thanks all parishioners who returned a commitment form and reports on the results to date
