Encouraging Vocations

Chossing to dedicate one's life to the Church is filled with discernment. Through The Catholic Foundation, donors can help assure the preservation of a supportive community for those preparing to serve our diocese as ordained or consecrated servants of Christ’s Church.

Aaron is one of 35 men actively preparing for the priesthood. Having grown up in St. Joseph Parish, Auburn, it wasn’t until a Navy chaplain sparked his interest that he began to think of a vocation to the priesthood. Now in his pastoral year at St. John the Baptist Parish in Chico, Aaron continues to develop a deeper understanding of God's call. Our seminarian endowments provide critical support to off set the rising cost of educating men like Aaron.
