Serving People In Need

Just before lent, Catholics across the diocese have an opportunity to respond to the call of our faith — to be stewards of human dignity. Fifty percent of net proceeds from the Annual Catholic Appeal enable 20 local organizations of — or associated with — Catholic Charities of Sacramento to provide hope and help to those in desperate need.

2010 Appeal contributions were nearly $3 million, providing substantial critical assistance. This generosity made it possible for our Catholic Charities organizations to help the ever-growing number of those overwhelmed with challenges to provide the basic necessities for their families.
