The Social Services Endowment serves as an ongoing testament of our faith by providing needed funds to Catholic Social Service programs, thereby assisting our brothers and sisters desperately in need. Michael and Irene, for example, were helped by Catholic Social Service of Solano Country. Both are grateful for the compassion and assistance that helped them overcome difficult circumstances.
Michael lost everything when his low-income residence burned to the ground. Yet his spirit never dampened. Because help was there when he needed it most, Michael is now recovering from his great loss and still lives on his own.
